Comme je le disais en début de mois, je refais un billet pour avoir une vue plus « large » des changements de tarifs induits par le changement de TVA à 7% après le court 5,5%.

 

Le résultat est assez édifiant:

 

Seules les chaînes de restauration ont augmenté leurs tarifs.

 

Le français du coin: pas bougé.

Le chinois: pas bougé.

La pizzeria: pas bougé (les tickets sont toujours édité avec TVA à 5,5%, ce qui montre bien le manque de réactivité…)

Par contre:

La chaîne taï: augmentation supérieure (double) au changement de TVA

La chaîne jap: augmentation similaire à la TVA

La chaîne américaine: (là, on me l'a rappporté, je n'ai pas vérifié moi-même n'étant pas client régulier) augmentation similaire à la TVA

 

Bref, l'honnêteté semble être de nos petits artisans. Pas de nos grands groupes.

We offer a day at Euro Disneyland Paris to my brother and his family. I loved that photo, but I wasn't happy with the compositions and the lights.

I play 10 minutes in Photoshop and here the result.

Disclamer: I'm NOT a photoshop pro. I only know two or three things.

So here I fix the composition, then I boost the blue channel (for the sky) and the red channel (for the lights and the castle's roof).

The sky was very noisy, so I apply a blur on it.

Et voilà!

That post shows that's easy to change a bad photo to something, if not beautiful, at least pleasing to the eye.

Nous y voilà.

La TVA est passée de 5,5% dans la restauration à 7%.

J'ai (avais) pour habitude d'aller me chercher un plat Taï dans une boîte (pour ne pas nommer la-dites chaîne) pour 6,50 € quand on était à l aTVA à 5,5%.

Là, je viens d'y retourner: 6,70 €.

Mes facultés de calcul mental ne sont pas très bonnes, mais j'y ai vu tout de suite plus de 1,5 point d'augmentation. J’en ai eu confirmation avec un petit calcul de recherche de prix HT.

À 5,5 %, le TTC était de 6,50 €, ce qui nous donne le HT à : 6,50 / 1,055 = 6,16 €. L'État prenait donc 0,34 €, sans compter l'ineptie des charges salariales, patronales, taxes pro, taxes à cons et à gogos, etc.

À 7,7 %, le TTC est de 6,70 €, ce qui nous donne le HT à : 6,70 / 1,07 = 6,26 €. L'État prend maintenant 0,44 €.

Bam, digère ton plat : le patron se prend 0,10 € net dans sa poche, tout comme l’État. Et rien de plus dans le plat.

L'augmentation de TVA est légitime (même si on ne m'enlèvera pas de la tête qu'on des millions voir des milliards à récupérer en impôts des sociétés et sur les bancs déserts ou ronflant des Assemblées), voici ce que j'aurais dû voir sur la facture:

Pour 7,7 % de TVA sur un HT constant de 6,16 € : 6,16*1,07 = 6,59 €. Bon prince, j'aurais accepté l'arrondi à 6,60 €, ne serait-ce que pour payer à court terme le changement de panneau de prix. L’État aurait prix alors 0,43 € par plat au lieu des 0,44 € désormais.

Je suis furax.

Pour 0,10 €. Oui.

Je sais déjà que je vais arrêter de prendre des menus: ils passent de 9,50 € à 9,80 €, selon le même calcul, le patron prend 0,15 € cette fois.

Et bon sang, je vais recommencer à me faire des « gamelles » le soir.

1. ça ne me coûtera que l’augmentation de la TVA
2. je saurais précisemment ce que je mange
3. à la fin de l’année, je pourrais me payer un bon… restau.

PS: Je pense que pour plus d'équité, je vais aller voir deux ou trois autres restaurateurs et faire un compte rendu plus global. À suivre.

Last wednesday, I had a very interesting argument about life's goals with Oleg, my co-worker at Pierlis.

No matter how I came to that thoughts, but I think about my personnal projects, my short-term goals. I spent the evening in doubts. I have to recognize that I have far too many "open projects" at once to achieve one of them.

Here a list of what I'd call "active" projects:

• pavatar ruby lib
• pavatar integration for typo
• typo globally
• ass2m (mainly the gallery plugin)
• exif_classifier
  
• remove_duplicate
  
• my medias automations (home scripts)
• upgrade my C++ skill
• learning japanese
• fine tunes my computer configurations at home

That's scaring for "free-time" activities. More if you consider that I have very few free-time hour: something between 3 and 10 a week.

In front of my projects, there's some rather logical and incompressible obligations that step in my free-time:

• give support to my wife on a day to day basis
• bring up my daughter
• DIY stuff in my house
• selling my house

To tell the truth, my daughter being just 2yo, my current priority is definitly taking care of her, then house cleaning, then etc. So there's even few free-time left. And I have a BIG problem of focus.

Just see: what's remaining about exif-classifier? Just the destination regexp. For the main problem, it should be 4hr work.

What about remove_duplicate? Just preparing test-cases to validate my algorithm, and fine-tune parameters / cli-feedback.

Pavatar lib? Just the caching systems.

So I have one more problem: once I get rid of the main problem, I lost interest in my project, even if it could *really* help me as exif_classifier and remove_dupicate.

When I start writing this post, I'd want to write an introspecting post. Now it's definitly a new year's resolution post (yes, the same thing I tell I never do...) that I combine with a "focus wish".

So, here my goals:

Doing in that strict order:

1. finish remove_duplicate
2. finish exif_classifier
3. make a gem for these two
4. implements better view for ass2m gallery
5. finish pavatar lib
6. integrate it in typo

Well, it should be sufficient for 2012.
